Best border-line pro headphones: Audio-Technica ATH-M20X
Strapped for cash and want pro headphones? The Audio-Technica ATH-M20X are studio grade headphones at a phenomenal price (if we wouldn’t go as far as saying cheap).
After seeing the popularity of the ATH-M50 series with pros, Audio-Technica came out with the ATH-M20X as a more pocket-friendly edition for those less ready to splurge on a pair of headphones. And man did they get it right:
- The larger than normal headphones provide great comfort for long period use
- 40mm drivers & copper clad voice coils make for the best sound at this price
- DJ accurate audio
- Strong bass depth
The only downside we found to the Audio-Technica ATH-M20X is it’s look – But if you’re planning on using it indoors, these headphones are a front-runner.
For that quality Bluetooth headphone listening experience: Paww Wavesound 2.1
The Paww Wavesound 2.1 are all about real-time and accurate quality listening. Their built-in Bluetooth 4.2 connects quickly and confidently to your device and gives you 10X more bandwidth than any Bluetooth 4.0 experience.
We haven’t found many headphones that give the all-round experience the Paww Wavesound 2.1 gives. They’re one smooth experience, from the pairing to quality listening with their end to end latency of 34ms. They can connect to multiple devices simultaneously (so you can keep an eye on your phone at the same).
In regards to build, they may look a bit delicate and since they’re foldable; we were a bit worried at first. But don’t let that fool you, they’re pretty sturdy and robust once you give them a closer inspection. The Paww Wavesound 2.1 are no regular pair of headphones despite their price.
Comfortable, quality sound, very long-life Bluetooth headphones: Avantree Audition Pro
Biggest problem with Bluetooth headphones? The battery life. Avantree found one hell of a solution for this issue. The Audition Pro have an outstanding 40 hours of battery life.
The Avantree Audition Pro’s easy pairing capabilities, comfort and sleek look in comparison to other Bluetooth headphones is what gives the Audition Pro their fantastic reviews on Amazon. For under $100 this set of wireless headphones has a great price-quality balance, making for a real steal.
We tried them while gaming and outdoors and found the Audition Pro to be super comfortable for long use and the sound to be rich with no delays. Their noise cancellation could be a bit better though. At the end of the day, the fact they cost less than $100 more than makes up for their minimal shortcomings.
